What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting people in their day-to-day life at home and in the community
• Encouraging independence and choice — from cooking to managing finances
• Delivering flexible personal care with dignity and respect
• Helping individuals connect with work, education or activities they enjoy
• Managing support plans and risk assessments
• Handling sleepovers (when needed) and lone working with confidence
• Promoting inclusion, safety, equality and wellbeing at every step

What you’ll bring:

• A kind heart and a practical, down-to-earth approach
• Confidence to work independently and use your initiative
• Experience in care is a bonus, but it’s your values that really count
• Basic IT skills (for things like online learning and keeping care notes)
• Ideally, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare — or willingness to work towards it
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota
