Job summary

CYGNET Hospital Godden Green is a private mental health hospital in Sevenoaks, offering women’s acute care on Oakwood and Upper Oakwood wards. The role is a Support Worker position, supporting nursing staff with admissions, assessments, and discharges, while focusing on dignity and safety for inpatients.

Staff on a 38.5-hour week rota include day and night shifts. Full-time training, DBS clearance, and a shuttle service from Sevenoaks are provided to assist staff commuting by train.

Responsibilities

  • Support nursing staff with admission, assessment, implementation and discharge of inpatients.

  • Play an active role in maintaining physical and mental wellbeing through individual or group work.
  • Work within safeguarding guidelines and participate in de-escalation training.

Be a part of it.Cygnet Hospital Godden Green is a private mental health hospital which provides specialist acute and PICU services for women.We are currently recruiting Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care to work on Oakwood and Upper Oakwood Wards, our female acute service.As an active member of our dynamic team, you’ll provide support for our nursing staff including the admission, assessment, implementation and discharge of inpatients, with a focus on dignity and safety at all times.The ethos of our service is about assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion.
