Support Worker - Nights Maternity Cover, Romsey

Job Details

• Location: Dunwood Court, Salisbury Road, Sherfield English, Nr Romsey SO51 6GR
• Pay Rate: From £9.50 to £10.23 per hour (weekends)
• Hours: Week 1: Monday and Thursday nights, 20:00-08:00; Week 2: Monday and Friday nights, 20:00-08:00
• Contract: Maternity, support role
• Accommodation: Provided during shifts
• Additional: Overtime opportunities, full training, benefits (pension, life assurance, eye care), referral scheme

About the Role

We seek an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated Support Worker to provide night support on a maternity contract. Your responsibilities include supporting our independent homeowners, maintaining a safe environment, and assisting with activities within the development. You should be comfortable working independently and using your initiative to ensure security and peace of mind for homeowners.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer care skills, empathy, and enjoy a dynamic role. Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or care is desirable but not essential. You should be discreet, sensitive, and diplomatic, with the ability to manage safety and security efficiently. Basic computer skills and email experience are required to support site administration.
