An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Main Theatres team providing high quality and safe care to patients. Main Theatres currently have permanent vacancies up to and including full time hours within their team for Band 2 Theatre Support Workers. We are seeking self-motivated individuals with experience in an acute hospital setting.
Successful applicants should have good communication skills and enjoy working in a swiftly changing and challenging environment. You will be required to work as part of a motivated team as well as being able to work on own initiative. You must be able to work shifts which includes nights, weekends and on calls to cover the service need seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Once all competencies have been completed, the successful applicants will be uplifted to Band 3.
The job entails working within all areas of theatres, adults and paediatrics and some administration duties when necessary. The post holders will be expected to provide quality care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. Applications from candidates with previous experience in theatres would be encouraged.
