Job summary

Cygnet Group's Langdale House in Huddersfield is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to join a 42-hour weekly rota. You will work night shifts on a rolling two-week schedule, including alternate weekends, in a residential setting for people with complex needs.

The role emphasizes providing emotional and physical support, safeguarding, and helping service users engage in daily activities. Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check and enjoy a benefits package.

You’ll be working full time42hours a week,12hour shifts, including alternate weekends (4 shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), nights only,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Langdale House.

Langdale House is an Outstanding' rated specialist residential service supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

The main house accommodates up to eight people and offers spacious communal areas, a dedicated activity room and an enclosed outdoor garden within a homely environment.

In the grounds we have two new single occupancy flats in the Coach House. Each flat boasts a double bedroom with fitted furniture, a bathroom / wet room and open plan living and kitchen space.

Your day-to-day

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
