Job summary

Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a friendly and proactive Administrative support worker to join Hospital at Home across Mid and South Essex. You will coordinate referrals, manage patient information and support the clinical team with day-to-day administration, helping deliver hospital-level care at home.

Based at Broomfield Hospital, you will work within a multidisciplinary team, handling referrals, patient records and reporting.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will help keep the service running smoothly behind the scenes. From coordinating referrals and managing patient information to supporting the clinical team with day-to-day administration, you'll play a vital part in helping patients receive hospital-level care in the comfort of their own homes. No two days are the same, and your contribution will directly support excellent patient care and improved outcomes across the community

What you'll be doing:

Based at Broomfield Hospital, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team who are helping patients to receive outstanding care closer to home. From time to time, you'll also provide support to our Basildon & Southend Hospital at Home teams in their office, making access to a car essential. Travel expenses incurred for work-related journeys will be reimbursed.
