About The Role

Mental health support workers work closely alongside individuals living with mental illness to help them cope more easily with day-to-day life and provide vital support to help them achieve their goals. Responsibilities include encouraging and supporting people with evening activities, providing physical and emotional care, and ensuring they feel safe, secure, and well-rested, preparing them for the day ahead.

Details
  • Location: Close to Nottingham city centre, 5-minute walk from Victoria bus station
  • Hours: Full-time night shifts only, rolling rotas on a 3-week basis
  • Service Description: Support for individuals with mental health conditions, including support for alcohol and drug misuse, mild learning disabilities, and ASD, in a facility comprising 10 self-contained flats
  • Requirements: Experience working with complex behaviors and in health and social care, excellent communication, IT, written and verbal skills
  • Note: Only applicants able to work in the UK; no sponsorship available
