A leading company in mental health support seeks full-time night shift workers in Nottingham. The role involves providing essential support to individuals with mental health conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being. Candidates should have experience in health and social care, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to foster positive impacts.
Mental health support workers work closely alongside individuals living with mental illness to help them cope more easily with day-to-day life, providing vital support to help them achieve their goals. Responsibilities include encouraging and supporting evening activities, providing physical and emotional care, and ensuring the people we support feel safe, secure, and well-rested, preparing them for the day ahead.
This service is located near Nottingham city centre and comprises 10 self-contained flats. We offer daily support to people with mental health conditions, who may also have additional needs such as alcohol and drug misuse, mild learning disabilities, or ASD.
Full-time night shifts only. Please only apply if you are available to work full-time hours. Rotas are on a rolling basis every 3 weeks.
Close to Nottingham centre, a 5-minute walk from Victoria bus station.
We seek candidates with experience working with complex behaviours and in the health and social care field. Excellent communication, IT, written, and verbal skills are essential.
