Job summary

Harmony Healthcare in Eastbourne is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for mental health to assist a young adult in their own home. You will provide 2:1 support, focusing on safety, dignity and independence, with weekend and bank holiday considerations.

Key duties include facilitating community access, encouraging social activity and coordinating with the clinical team to ensure wellbeing. Training is provided, and DBS checks are completed.

Support Worker - Mental Health (Eastbourne)

£17.00 per hour for weekdays & £17.50 per hour for weekends(inclusive of holiday pay)
Weekday & Weekend shifts available

Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently and with dignity in their own home.

This is a meaningful 2:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the Client

Our client is a young adult who enjoys reading and writing stories and poems, alongside other hobbies like arts & crafts. She enjoys to explore her creativity, often looking to entertain herself throughout the day. A carer who's engaging yet understanding would be perfect for the role.

Clinical Requirements

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

  • Autism
  • Learning Disabilities

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Weekday& Weekend shifts available

Compliance Requirements

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work verification and full CQC/Schedule 3-compliant onboarding.

Referral Bonus

  • £150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
  • £250 for every Registered Nurse you refer
  • Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
