Job summary

Community Integrated Care is a UK health and social care charity delivering person-centred support across England and Scotland. You will work closely with people who need care, spending your shift with them to make a meaningful impact on their daily lives, while following safeguarding and care procedures.

The role offers flexible hours, 28 days leave pro‑rated, a pension scheme, and opportunities for ongoing professional development and progression within a supportive leadership environment.

We have different challenges that we face, including Learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Our staff team are trained in, Moving and positioning, Safeguarding, Medication administration and a lot more!

We all like similar activities, we enjoy going out and accessing our local community, shopping, arts and crafts, going for drives in our vehicles, eating out at nice restaurants and people watching.

We don’t like people who doing like to go out into the community, who are bossy. We are the bosses!

We each receive one to one/ two to one support to access the local community - we also share some support within the home. There is two staff one shift at one time with Elizabeth and Paul.

We have a range of shifts for staff available - 8am-8pm, 10:00am-17:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am - 5pm on Monday and Friday, waking night shift 8pm-8am.

We need you to be fun, bubbly and outgoing, staff are provided with all mandatory and specific training tailored to our needs.

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
