Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.

Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.

We are all different in lots of ways and have different likes and hobbies, our age range is from 33 to 34 years

We have a range of different mobile needs in our home, one of us needs support using a walking frame. Two of us need some physical assistance to get around when we are in the community. We have different challenges in our lives which include, autism, learning disabilities and mental health

We are proud to be able to help our community and some of us have volunteer work we love to do including working in a charity shop.

We love a party and going to social events. We enjoy going to concerts and local discos alike.

We have all different interests. Though we all enjoy music and dancing, local discos and going on local walks and trips to shopping centres.

We are fun-loving, caring and considerate, and love helping each other around our home. We all have different jobs that we do, including washing the dishes, hoovering, dusting and other household tasks.

There are always at least 2/3 colleagues on shift.

We like our staff to work mornings and evenings with a mixture of shifts from 9 am to 9 pm, sometimes we may need our support workers to stay back if we are going out late to the pub, social events, concerts, theatre shows etc. We also have a sleepover that is from 9 pm - 9 am the next day

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
