Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker (Male) to join our Ashford service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living, and promote independence within a supportive team.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, flexibility to cover evenings and weekends, and completion of DBS checks. Full training and progression are provided in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota.
• Must be willing to achieve Level 2 Diploma.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by employer).

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.

The Role

You will:

Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans

Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
