Job summary

The YOU Trust is recruiting a Support Worker for Blackfield, New Forest, in Hampshire. This permanent, part-time role (24 hours per week) offers a salary of £15,894 per annum plus £900 per annum MRA, totalling £26,490 FTE plus £1,500 MRA FTE.

Qualifications

• Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience of supporting people with a variety of needs.
• Skills to promote and encourage our clients, who have learning disabilities, independence and wellbeing.
• Good communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, person-centred support to boost client independence.
• Help with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and getting out into the community.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Work in a Supported Living setting at Blackfield, The New Forest.
