Glenholme Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist residents with learning disabilities in a safe and caring environment. No prior experience is required, and full training is provided. You will work across a rota that includes days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays where needed.

The role emphasises reassurance, daily living support, and promoting independence. You will also assist with personal care and have access to ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Willing to work across rota including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats.

Responsibilities

• Providing reassurance, emotional support, and daily assistance to residents.
• Supporting with personal care where required.
• Administering medication in line with care plans.
• Responding promptly to residents' needs and supporting positive outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing daily reports.
• Ensuring the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
• Encouraging independence, choice, and participation in daily activities.
