Glenholme Specialist Healthcare – Manor Crescent in Byfleet, West Byfleet, KT14 7EN, is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for a full-time role supporting people with learning disabilities. No prior care experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided.

Salary starts at £12.75–£12.95 per hour with paid training. The role includes 37.5 hours per week, and sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Providing personal care and day-to-day support
• Supporting and teaching independent living skills
• Supporting with the management of medication
• Encouraging choice, independence and inclusion
• Supporting people to take part in community-based activities
• Accompanying residents to activities such as swimming, social events and other leisure activities
• Building positive and respectful relationships with the people you support
• Encouraging residents to make their own choices and take an active role in their daily lives
