Milestones Trust is seeking a compassionate, motivated female Support Worker to work across two services: Blackhorse House in Downend and Graeme Close in Fishponds. These transitional services support people with learning disabilities and autism to develop practical life skills and greater independence.
You will provide person-centred support with daily living tasks, personal care and health appointments, plus helping access the community to build independence.

Both are transitional services supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to develop practical life skills, greater independence, choice and a life of purpose as they prepare to move into longer-term homes.
You will provide person-centred support that builds independence while also meeting each person's individual health, wellbeing and care needs. To support flexibility across the whole service, you will need to be willing and able to provide the full range of support required, including:
You will be kind, patient, reliable and adaptable, with a positive and person-centred approach. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and flexible enough to work across both services according to the needs of the people we support.
