Job summary

New Way Recruitment Ltd is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join a specialist Learning Disabilities and Complex Care service in Liverpool. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live independently in a safe, person-centred environment.

Flexible hours available; £14 per hour for a 40-hour week. We offer induction and ongoing training, with career progression opportunities and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex care needs is desirable.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, behaviours that challenge, or mental health needs is advantageous.
• A caring, patient, and compassionate approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex care needs.
• Encouraging independence, choice, and community participation.
• Providing personal care where required.
• Supporting individuals with positive behaviour support plans.
• Assisting with medication and daily living activities.
• Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
• Maintaining accurate records and following individual care plans.
• Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times.
