Job summary

New Way Recruitment LTD is seeking caring, resilient Support Workers to join a Learning Disabilities and Complex Care service. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs in a safe, person-centred environment, helping them live fulfilling lives.

Flex shifts including weekends; £14.00 per hour. Comprehensive induction and ongoing training; career progression opportunities; supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, patient and compassionate approach.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities desirable.
• Experience with autism, challenging behaviours or mental health needs advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with learning disabilities and complex care needs.
• Encourage independence, choice and community participation.
• Provide personal care where required.
• Support individuals with positive behaviour support plans.
• Assist with medication and daily living activities.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
