Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Support Worker for the Martello Centre in Folkestone to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role offers a rewarding, long-term career with training and progression opportunities.

You will deliver person-centred support, help with daily living skills, and promote independence and wellbeing. Be prepared for a rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins; full UK manual driving and D1 entitlement are required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 diploma.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep‑ins
