Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd in King's Lynn is recruiting a Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role involves assisting with daily living, promoting independence and wellbeing, and joining a rota that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

No experience? Full training and a structured induction are provided; drivers are preferred and enhanced DBS is paid for by CareTech.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota.
• Drivers preferred.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
