Job summary

Leonard Cheshire in Kempston is seeking an experienced support worker to help provide support for up to 3 adults with physical disabilities in a home-like setting.

You will assist with daily living tasks, support independence, accompany people to appointments and activities, and maintain clear records to ensure person-centred care.

Qualifications

£13.38 per hour | Full-time - 37.5 hours | Mids-shires Kempston, Bedfordshire. Full UK driving licence essential

A home, not just a service

Our Mid-shires service is looking for an experienced support worker to help provide support for up to 3 adults with physical disabilities. Our service feels like family – relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK manual driving licence is essential.

Your working hours

We are offering full-time hours, at 37.5 hours per week.

You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and every other weekend as part of a rota

Typical shifts:
  • Earlies: 7:30am - 2:30pm
  • Lates: 2:30pm - 10pm

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.
