Job summary

Outward seeks dedicated Support Workers to assist adults with autism and learning disabilities in supported living settings across London. You will provide day-to-day care, help develop life skills, and support personal wellbeing in a compassionate, person-centred approach.

No prior professional care experience is required; training including PBS will be provided. The role involves evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis, with strong emphasis on safeguarding and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Willingness to support people with personal care.
• Commitment to safeguarding and following support plans.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Access to a smartphone for secure systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with support plans.
• Enable access to the community and promote independence.
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Act as a keyworker and maintain regular contact with individuals and families.
• Contribute to service planning and feedback opportunities.
• Uphold dignity, respect, and choice in all activities.
