Job summary

Outward is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help adults with autism and learning disabilities in North/East London living in supported accommodation. You will assist with daily living, community access and personal care, on an evening/weekend rota. No prior care experience is required, training including PBS is provided.

This role offers a hands-on, person-centred approach in a real living wage employer environment, with emphasis on dignity, respect and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Passion for supporting vulnerable adults to live independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undertake training and apply learning.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals in line with their support plans and risk assessments.
• Enable people to access the community, develop independence, and pursue interests and goals.
• Support with daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, budgeting and household tasks.
• Act as a keyworker, maintaining regular contact and building meaningful relationships.
• Uphold dignity, respect and choice in all support activities.
• Attend essential training and apply learning in practice.
