Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable person who wants to make a meaningful difference in someone's life?
We're looking for a Support Worker to make a real difference in the life of a young gentleman living with a Traumatic Brain Injury.
He has a wonderfully positive outlook and enjoys an active, fulfilling lifestyle. Whether it's playing golf, going to the gym, swimming, visiting the cinema, attending hydrotherapy sessions, or spending time in the local community, no two days are the same. He also attends regular therapy appointments in the local area, where you'll provide support and encouragement.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is positive, reliable, and enjoys building meaningful relationships. Ideally, you'll share some of his interests, such as golf, swimming, and going to the gym, enabling you to actively participate in and encourage the activities he enjoys.
He lives in his own self-contained flat within a family annexe, providing a comfortable and independent living environment. As there are cats on the main property, you will need to feel comfortable around animals.
This is much more than a support role??"it's an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship, encourage independence, and help someone continue to enjoy the activities they love. You'll become part of a friendly, supportive environment where your contribution will make a genuine difference every day.
