We are seeking an experienced Support Worker (Housing) to join our team at Golau Caredig, Barry.
This is a permanent role, working 18.5 hours per week over 3 days between Monday and Friday.
You will provide support services to older adults with support needs, including adults with mental health issues and physical disabilities. Your role involves working as part of a team to deliver flexible, targeted housing support to tenants, helping them maintain their accommodation and achieve independent living. This includes assisting with social inclusion, tenancy management, budgeting, accessing education, training, employment, and increasing community awareness and life skills.
To succeed, you should be able to organise your workload, prioritise tasks, and have experience working directly with individuals with support needs or liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies. A qualification in Social Care or a related field is desirable. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, good time management, and the ability to remain calm in changing environments. Flexibility is essential.
Essential: UK Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
