Job summary

Bield Housing & Care is recruiting a Full Time Support Worker in Dundee to cover developments at Rockwell Gardens, Bonnethill Gardens and Balgowan Court. You will provide care and practical support to service users in their own homes, promoting independence and wellbeing.

We offer comprehensive training, a 35-hour week over 5 days, and a supportive team environment. Applicants should have good communication skills and be willing to pursue SVQ2 in Health and Social Care; registration with SSSC

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability and initiative to work on a lone working basis.
• Good time keeping, time management and organisational skills.
• Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or have the ability and willingness to undertake this qualification.
• Be required to obtain registration with the SSSC within 6 months of taking up the post.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with household tasks.
• Assisting and supporting with personal care, including intimate personal care.
