Job summary

Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking care support workers to help adults with learning disabilities and/or autism live more independently in their own homes and engage with their communities.

Roles include personal care, meal prep, laundry, shopping, and supporting activities across locations in Paulton, Midsomer Norton, Peasedown, Odd Down, Twerton and Keynsham. DBS checks are part of safeguarding, with comprehensive induction and training provided.

Qualifications

• Care experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
• Willingness to support personal care and daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, laundry, and chores.
• Support mobility, shopping, cooking, and engaging with local communities.
• Provide a safe, respectful, and person-centred approach to care across multiple locations.
