Job summary

Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking bank support workers to help people with learning disabilities, autism and other needs. You will work flexibly across services, with comprehensive induction and ongoing supervision.

Your role includes assisting with daily living, personal care, social activities, and, where required, medication support in supported living. Transferable skills and a readiness for a physically demanding role are valued.

Qualifications

• Care experience (preferred but not essential).
• Transferable skills.
• The ability to work in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Support people in day services with groups, meals, personal care and transport.
• Assist in community volunteering placements and community activities.
• Provide enablement support to learn new skills and build independence.
• Support in housing-related services, including medication administration and personal care.
