Job summary

CareTech Community Services in Potters Bar is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily living skills, and help individuals lead fuller, more independent lives.

No previous experience required; full training and induction provided. You will work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, with CareTech values guiding a supportive, career‑progressing

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
• Drivers desirable but not essential.

Our friendly Clocktower Mews Service in Potters Bar Herts provides care and support for individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to have fulfilled lives and gain further independence.

Service User Interests

The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required

• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

Who Were Looking For

Were seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, well provide full training and a structured induction programme.
