Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is recruiting Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in a care home setting near Coulsdon. The role focuses on delivering individualized support plans and enabling participation in daily activities.

The team emphasises compassionate, patient care, effective communication, and collaboration to ensure high-quality support and safe, respectful service delivery.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities.
• Maintain effective communication with service users, families and others while respecting confidentiality.
• Support service users with meals, laundry, cleaning and social events.
• Maintain accurate notes and records as required.
• Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.

About the Service - Woodcote Grove

Woodcote Grove is situated on a busy residential road within walking distance of Coulsdon. Close to local shops. Woodcote Grove has a well maintained garden and a friendly atmosphere.

Woodcote Grove is a care home which provides care and support for up to 6 people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder with additional physical disability needs.

The Role

• To participate in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
• To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
• To support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
• To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
• To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
