Job summary

Radis Community Care in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals with PMLD and Mild Learning Disabilities. You will support personal care, meals, daily living tasks and help them stay connected with family and community in a respectful, person-centered way.

The role offers full and part-time hours, with paid training, PPE, mileage allowance, pension, and clear progression paths within a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Ideally a health and social care qualification or proven experience in similar settings.
• Experience with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) is a plus.
• Ability to support daily living tasks with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with PMLD and Mild Learning Disabilities.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, meals and daily living tasks.
• Help individuals access community activities and attend appointments.
• Promote independence, dignity and respect in all interactions.
• Record and communicate changes in wellbeing or needs to the team.
