Job summary

Community Case Management Services Ltd seeks an experienced female support worker to assist with personal care for a 22-year-old client in Frome. You will help with food, drink, mobility, and community activities, using a full hoist if needed.

The role requires DBS clearance, a valid UK driving licence, and experience with moving & handling. AAC device experience and WAV driving are highly regarded. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with moving and handling, including hoist systems.
• Excellent communication and empathetic approach.
• AAC device experience or willingness to training.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in care.
• Experience driving a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to client (22 yrs) living in Frome.
• Assist with moving and handling, including use of hoist.
• Support client to access community and leisure activities.
• Follow care plans with input from treating professionals.
• Support worker shifts include 24h and day blocks; flexible coverage as needed.
