Job summary

Westcountry Case Management Ltd is recruiting for a client in Bridgwater who needs a caring, reliable support worker to join a team. The role covers 24-hour shifts including sleeping nights, with some daytime duties across home and community activities.

A driving licence and an enhanced DBS are required. You will support a young person with cerebral palsy to access sports, gym, hydrotherapy, and social events, while ensuring safety and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Must have worked with young people like me before.
• Requires full driving licence and DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support access to home and community activities (gym, hydrotherapy, sports, theatre).
• Assist with communication and therapy activities as needed.
• Sleep-in shifts and 24 hour coverage when requested.
