Thera Trust in Kingsteignton is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs in a dynamic environment. You will provide person-centred care, support daily living activities, and help individuals access their community.

This role offers full induction and ongoing training, with flexible shifts and a focus on empowering people to live independently. Driving is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is desirable.
• Ability to provide personal and intimate care.
• Proactive, compassionate, and able to think independently.

Responsibilities

• Delivering person-centred, strengths-based support tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting with complex personal care, including moving and handling.
• Providing support with health needs, including medication and specialist routines.
• Enabling individuals to access their community, pursue hobbies, and build independence.
• Responding proactively to situations using initiative and judgement.
• Completing accurate, high-quality care records.
• Working as part of a supportive and professional team.
