Job summary

Thera Trust in Kingsteignton is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs live independently and with dignity. You will provide person-centred care, assist with health needs, and support community participation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and empathetic individuals who support adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
• Able to think on your feet and respond to changing situations with initiative.
• Comfortable providing personal and intimate care and working flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Delivering person-centred, strengths-based support tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting with complex personal care, including moving & handling.
• Providing support with health needs, including medication and specialist routines.
• Enabling individuals to access their community, pursue hobbies, and build independence.
• Responding proactively to situations, using your initiative and judgement.
• Completing accurate, high-quality care records.
• Working as part of a supportive and professional team.
