Job summary

Thera Trust in Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot, Devon, is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker to provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities. You will assist with personal care, daily living skills, and community activities, supporting residents who are wheelchair users.

We offer guaranteed £13.30/hour, sleep-in payments, 28 days leave pro rata, free nationally accredited training, pension, and flexible patterns across days, evenings, and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring nature with resilience to manage demanding shifts.
• Full, valid driving licence due to location.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings and sleep-ins.
• Excellent communication for documentation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and mobility assistance, including support for wheelchair users.
• Deliver person-centred daily living support and skills development.
• Support residents in planning and managing their own home and community activities.
