Job summary

You’ll work to promote independence and dignity in a care home setting, with flexible hours and local shifts. The role requires at least 6 months’ care experience, NISCC registration (or willingness to apply), and willingness to complete training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar support or care role.
• NISCC registration (or willingness to apply).
• Willingness to complete training courses relevant to the role.
• Ability to undergo and pass an enhanced Access NI check.
• Health and Social Care qualification (Level 2 or higher) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support to service users.
• Support individuals during meal times, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Encourage and promote independence and self-care skills.
• Assist with mobility and physical support when required.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Engage with service users through effective and respectful communication.
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and inclusive day centre environment.
