Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is seeking a dedicated Flexi bank Support Worker to provide daily support to adults in residential services in Plymouth. You will work across days, nights, and flexible shifts, sometimes including sleep-ins, to help individuals live independently and with dignity.

The role focuses on compassionate, patient care, safeguarding, and collaboration with families and health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes for the people we support.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable and proactive individual.
• Able to work flexibly across days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Committed to promoting independence and wellbeing for those supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals, promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Encourage life skills, education, employment and community participation.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition and continence care as needed.
• Monitor health, attend appointments and maintain accurate records.
• Administer and manage medication safely according to policy.
• Work with families, health professionals and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Complete documentation daily and support budgeting and benefits where appropriate.
