Job summary

Turning Point in Bradford provides 24‑hour support at Norman Mount for adults with learning disabilities, delivering personal care, daily activities, and community engagement to help residents live as independently as possible.

We seek passionate, caring, and patient team players with good communication skills who can adapt to changing shift patterns. Training is provided after probation, with a focus on growth within a not-for-profit care framework.

Qualifications

• Experience with learning disabilities beneficial but not essential.
• Able to perform manual handling where needed.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Promoting the independence of people we support.
• Supporting daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or holidays.
• Arranging activities in the home and local community.
• Developing residents' life skills and personal interests.
• Helping residents stay safe and healthy.
• Assisting with personal care needs.
• Manual handling.
• Maintaining accurate records for service monitoring.
