Job summary

Midway Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker - Days to assist adults with learning disabilities in acquiring daily living skills and participating in activities within the home and local community.

You will identify needs, build relationships with clients and staff, and promote independence while upholding dignity and rights. The role offers flexible hours with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with people and make a difference in daily lives.
• Experience in caring or working with a venerable adult.
• Care Certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those we care for.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• Encourage choices in line with the rights of people with a Learning Disability.
• Assist with defined care plans and encourage activity in daily living.
