Job summary

Midway Care Group is recruiting for Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities develop daily living skills. The role offers flexible hours, above the National Living Wage, and funded qualifications across Midlands services.

You will support individuals in daily activities, build relationships with the community, and participate in care plans to promote independence. Candidates should be empathetic, adaptable, and committed to dignity and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring or working with a venerable adult.
• Desire to work with people and make a difference in their daily lives.
• Willing to be flexible across weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support people in developing daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those we care for.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• Encourage choices in keeping with the rights of people with a Learning Disability.
• Assist with defined care plans encouraging individuals to take an active role in all aspects of daily living.
