Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in Builth Wells is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people we support live fulfilled lives. You’ll assist with daily decisions, practical tasks and community activities, ensuring dignity, respect and autonomy.

This is a full-time permanent role, with weekends and sleep-ins included. The hourly rate is £13.59, sleep-ins are £60 per night, and travel expenses are paid at 55p per mile. Comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in making daily decisions and setting goals.
• Empower people to follow through on choices and participate in structured activities.
• Provide practical support with paying bills, home upkeep, and staying connected with others.
• Promote well-being and meaningful moments in everyday life.
• Assist with transport to appointments and activities as needed.
