Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network (AILN) is seeking a part-time Support Worker in Ayr to assist a sociable client with Down Syndrome. You will accompany her to activities, support everyday tasks, and help her participate in preferred hobbies.

A driving licence is advantageous, and a PVG check plus references are required. The role is on-site with flexible hours of about 10 hours per week (40 hours per month) and includes training provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' care experience.
• Be attentive and organised.
• Able to manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Support a sociable lady with Down Syndrome in daily activities and appointments.
• Assist with accessing and participating in hobbies and outings.
• Provide driving to accompany activities when needed.
