Job summary

Advance is seeking a Support Worker to cover two homes in Luton, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health conditions. You will provide person-centred support with daily living activities, medication administration, meal prep, appointments and helping customers live the lives they choose.

You don’t need prior care experience; what matters are your values, passion and determination to make a difference.

Qualifications

• Values and determination to make a difference are essential.
• Ability to work every other weekends.
• Able to work between 7am and 10:30pm.
• Literate and numerate in English.
• Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required.
• Keeping up to date with your training.
