Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd is recruiting Casual Support Workers to help customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions live the lives they choose. You will assist with daily tasks, accompany appointments and support social activities, while keeping careful records and following care plans.

We offer flexible hours, training and a supportive team, with opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; values and motivation matter.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Willingness to follow a Care Plan and Risk Assessments.
• Able to complete quality support records.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keep accurate records and update care plans as required.
• Maintain up-to-date training.
• Ensure premises are secure and safe during the night.
• Support with meal times and food preparation (if required).
• Regular checks on the customer to ensure safety.
