Job summary

Voyage Care in Fareham is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to help people gain more independence. Typical shifts are 7am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, and you will support daily living, personal care and community activities in a friendly supported living service.

The role emphasizes teaching new life skills, encouraging community access, and working as part of a dedicated team to make a real difference in people’s lives. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Be resilient, flexible and reflective in approach.

Support Worker – Fareham - £13.35ph

Typical Shifts are: 7am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Fareham is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. The people we support enjoy being active in the community so we would require a Support Worker who is happy to get involved with swimming, trips to the zoo and trampoline parks.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should ideally hold a full UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practices.
