Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for our Highfields service in Caldecote, Cambridge. The role involves assisting residents with daily living, personal care, and activities to promote independence, within a friendly team environment.

Typical shifts include 7am–2pm and 2pm–9pm, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends. A UK driving licence is required, and DBS checks will be conducted for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Should hold a UK driving licence.
• Experience in care or support roles is desirable.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience.

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service Highfields in Caldecote is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the community going swimming or assisting them with arts and crafts
