Radis Community Care is seeking a part-time Time Support Worker for the Melbourne, Royston area. The role includes helping elderly residents maintain independence, assist with mobility, meals and personal care within the Extra Care Scheme.

You will join a team focused on dignity, respect and person-centred care, with opportunities for training, progression and full support from Radis. 20–30 hours per week, shift patterns to cover mornings and late shifts, with alternate weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Experience caring for elderly preferred.
• Able to assist with personal care tasks such as washing and dressing.
• Willing to work mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.

Radis Community Care are looking for a Part Time Time Support Worker to join our Radis team in Melbourne, Royston.

Moorlands Court has 35 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.

This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternate weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover. 20 - 30hours available per week.

At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.

The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
