Radis Community Care in Colchester is seeking Full Time and Part Time Support Workers for the Extra Care Scheme at The Cannons. You will assist elderly residents with mobility, meals, personal care, and social activities to help them remain independent.

Shifts include mornings and late shifts, weekend rotation, and cover for sickness and holidays; starts are at 7am. Training is provided, and sponsorship is not available for this role.

Radis Community Care are looking for Full Time and Part Time Support worker to join the Radis Teamin our Extra Care Scheme, The Cannons.

The Cannons extra care scheme in Essex contains one and two bedroom apartments, set within a spectacular, late-Georgian building.

This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternative weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover.

Must be available for 7AM start.

At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.
