Job summary
CareTech is recruiting a Support Worker to join our service in Aldershot, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily living skills, and promote independence within individual care plans.
No experience? Full training and a structured induction programme are provided, with shifts including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins for a rewarding, long-term career.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF (Social Care) registration.
- Commitment to learning and professional development.
- Ability to work with adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support in line with individual care plans.
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care as required.
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
- Coordinate activities, appointments and community access.
- Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
- Full training and structured induction provided for new staff.
- Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
